Telangana: Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao is set to chair a crucial meeting in Hyderabad on Thursday, where he is likely to take a decision on dissolving the state assembly and seek early polls in the state. As per sources, all the ministers of the cabinet, including MLAs and MLCs have been asked to be present during the meeting, which is likely to take place post-noon. The sources also claim that the governor may ask KCR to continue as a caretaker Chief Minister, after dissolving the first cabinet of independent Telangana. The CM is likely to address the media post cabinet meeting. Telangana Congress lashes out at government: Taking on KCR, Congress Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that KCR has cheated the people through 'fake and tall' promises and all sections of the society were disappointed with the performance of TRS Government. "Fearing that he could be questioned by the people on streets for the failure of his government to deliver on promises, KCR is preparing for early polls although his party was given a mandate for five years," Reddy claimed, according to the release. He directed the party workers to check their names in the electoral rolls and also asked them to cross check whether or not the names of their family members, relatives and neighbours exist in the voters' list.
