পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বেশ কয়েকটি মহিলা থানা খুলেছে রাজ্য সরকার। সেনিয়ে প্রশ্ন তুলল কলকাতা হাইকোর্ট।  শুক্রবার একটি জনস্বার্থ মামলার শুনানিতে ডিভিশন বেঞ্চ জানতে চেয়েছে, আলাদা করে মহিলা থানার দরকার পড়ল কেন? আদালতের পর্যবেক্ষণ, থানার মধ্যেই তো মহিলা সেল রাখা যেত।
