This ice cream is made from food waste and it’s delicious!

When we waste food we never realize that it can actually feed so many hungry people out there. According to research, around one-third of the food produced in the world for human consumption–about 1.3 billion tons–is lost or wasted each year. It is believed that this waste needs to be minimized so that the death rate due to hunger can be reduced for the betterment of mankind. As a baby step in this direction, there is one outlet that is making ice cream flavours from the food waste that would have ended up in the trash otherwise.
