Cuomo, Empire State establishment strike back -- leftist rebels trounced in NY Dem primary
Mainstream candidates defeated far-left insurgents for the top three statewide elected offices in New York’s Democratic primary Thursday, as Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul were renominated and New York City Public Advocate Letitia James captured the party’s nomination for attorney general.
