Twarit Mahanagar: 4 dead, 21 injured in Parel\'s Crystal Tower fire

A massive fire broke out in the 12th floor of a posh residential building in Parel area this morning. The blaze has claimed four lives so far and injured several others. The 16-storeyed building \'Crystal Tower\' is located near Hindmata Cinema.<br />Additional Commissioner of Police (special branch) Ravindra Shisve who is overseeing the rescue operations told ABP News that one elderly woman, three males have died in the inferno.<br /><br />The smoke from the raging fire spread rapidly and residents were trapped on the building\'s staircases, Mumbai Fire Brigade chief P S Rahangdale was quoted by news agency PTI. Efforts were on to douse the flames and rescue the residents of the building, he said.
